Amherst:#11 Seed UMass Heads To Charlotte For A-10s After a dramatic last-second 69-67 victory over Rhode Island to clinch a spot in the 2010 Atlantic 10 Tournament, the UMass basketball team is travelling to Charlotte to take on the No. 6-seeded 49ers on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The Minutemen (11-19 overall) are seeded 11th in the tournament after finishing with a 5-11 conference record. Charlotte is 19-11 overall and went 9-7 in the Atlantic 10 this season, finishing in a tie for fifth place.
