Amherst:STUDENTS! You Asked For It, You Got It: Better Seating At Football
UMass students, your voices have been heard! The Athletic Department has moved the student seating section to the East Side of McGuirk Stadium. UMass students will be seated in Sections 17 through 20. Students will enter McGuirk Stadium through the Northeast corner at the Big Y Student Entrance. (MORE)

Dartmouth:Football Looks for Good Start
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's football team hopes to get off to a good start when they host Fitchburg State in their 2010 opener Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 12 noon at Cressy Field."This is huge for us, we haven't won a game since last October, and we need to win," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Mark Robichaud. The Bud Light UMass Football Show returns to the airwaves this Thursday night at 7 p.m. Join us at the Hangar Pub & Grill for great food and football talk with Head Coach Kevin Morris and Voice of the Minutemen Josh Maurer. All shows air live on 100.9 FM WRNX and here on UMassAthletics.com. Many shows will also air on 1510 The Zone in Boston, starting next week Sept. 9. (MORE)

Dartmouth:Football Helmet Earns National Honors
The season has not yet begun, but the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's football team has already received national recognition.The Corsair helmet has been featured as one of the top 20 Division III helmets in the nation by Ed Wozniak on the Balladeer's Blog. The feature is entitled "The 20 Coolest Football Helmets in NCAA Division 3." UMass Dartmouth is ranked 15th on the list.
