Amherst:Field Hockey Signs Seven For 2010 UMass field hockey head coach Justine Sowry has announced the commitments of seven players for the 2010 season. The class of 2014 is comprised of one goalkeeper and six very versatile athletes that can play across the three lines. They will join a Minutewomen squad that has won two Atlantic 10 Championships and advanced to two NCAA Tournaments in three years under Sowry. (MORE)

Nov. 24, 2009Amherst:Potts Named NFHCA All-American For the second straight year, UMass field hockey player has been named a Longstreth/NFHCA All-American. The junior defender/midfielder was named to the third team, the same honor she won in 2008. The native of Sydney, Australia is the Minutewomen's first repeat All-American since Anke Bruemmer in 1999 and 2000.
