Amherst:#24 UMass Finishes Perfect Weekend With 6-1 Win Over RMU
The No. 24 UMass softball team finished off a perfect 5-0 weekend at the USF Under Armour Invitational on Sunday morning with a 6-1 victory over Robert Morris (1-4). The Minutewomen improved to 11-4 overall as they were the only undefeated team of the 27 at the tournament. It is also the first time UMass has gone 5-0 at an early season tournament since the Florida State Tournament in 1999. (MORE)

Amherst:#24 Softball Comes Back To Top USF, 6-5
Michelle Libby's two-run single in the sixth inning erased a one-run deficit and gave No. 24 UMass softball the lead as it went on to defeat USF, 6-5, in a back and forth contest on day two of the USF Under Armour Invitational at Eddie C. Moore Complex on Saturday afternoon. The win made the Minutewomen 4-0 on the weekend and 10-4 overall heading into Sunday's 9 a.m. game against Robert Morris. (MORE)

Amherst:#24 UMass Tops Virginia Tech, 3-0, Faces USF Next
After being no-hit for the first four innings, the No. 24 UMass softball team's offense came to life in the fifth innings, scoring three runs on five hits, and went on to shut out Virginia Tech, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Eddie Moore Softball Complex. UMass is slated to take on USF at 4 p.m., but the start will be delayed as the game prior to that contest did not begin until 3:15 p.m. (MORE)
