Boston:WOMEN'S TENNIS BLANKS JOHNSON STATE IN SEASON OPENER, 9-0
JOHNSON, VT - The University of Massachusetts Boston women's tennis team swept host Johnson State College, 9-0, today in Johnson, VT. The match was the season opener for both teams as the Beacons improve to 1-0, while the Badgers fall to 0-1. (MORE)

Boston:WOMEN'S TENNIS SET TO OPEN 2010 SEASON IN VERMONT
BOSTON, MA - The 2010 UMass Boston Women's Tennis team will open the fall season with matches this Friday and Saturday in the Green Mountain State. The Beacons begin the season with a match vs. Johnson State this Friday, September 3 at 3:00 P.M. and will head to Castleton State on Saturday, September 4 for a 1:00 P.M. tilt. (MORE)

Amherst:Dixon To Speak At Tennis Teachers Conference
On August 30th, UMass women's tennis head coach Judy Dixon will be at the 40th Anniversary Tennis Teachers Conference. She will be a speaker at the conference to talk about women's doubles in the Grand Hyatt Ballroom at 1:45 p.m. The conference brings together 500 tennis coaches, players, pros, learning experts, and tennis innovators to talk about the tennis industry. Amherst:Tennis Feature: Aces From Overseas
When Julia Comas '13 came to Amherst from Barcelona to study chemistry and play tennis for the Minutewomen, it was her first time in the U.S. Although the adjustment to a new country and new culture has had its rough moments, it's worth it because there are no such opportunities in Europe to combine the sport she loves with high-level academics, she says.
